PHILOSOPHY
At Dover United, we strive to create an environment where every player can grow technically, tactically, and mentally. Our goal is to develop confident, intelligent players who can possess the ball, express their creativity, and embrace an attacking mindset. We promote an exciting, forward-thinking style of play that empowers our athletes to enjoy the game and play with passion.
Facilities
Dover United is proud to call Boyce Park in Wingdale, NY our home. The park features a versatile layout with space for two full-sized 11v11 fields, two 9v9 fields, and six 4v4 fields, providing an ideal training and match environment for players of all ages. All of our travel teams train and compete at Boyce Park, making it the heart of our club.
Dover United also utilizes JH Ketcham Memorial Park in Dover Plains, NY for all of its town soccer programs. It’s where young players take their first steps in the game—building skills, confidence, and a genuine love for soccer from First Kick through U13.
Coaching Staff
AARON KELLY
Director of Coaching
Aaron currently works with SUNY New Paltz men's soccer and has previously worked at New York Red Bulls, Ohio Northern University, Soccer Plus Academy and Mount Saint Mary College. He currently holds his Welsh FA C License, United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Diploma as well as his United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma.
ERIC KELLY
Coach
Eric currently is the Dover varsity boys soccer coach, he has worked several years with the Dover United Youth Soccer program. He played at Nichols College where he won a Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship.
MARK TAYLOR
Coach
Mark is currently the Dover junior varsity boys soccer coach. He has spent many years working with the Dover United youth program and was also the recipient of the Coach of the Year award handed out by East Hudson Youth Soccer League.
