Founded in 1986, Dover United Youth Soccer Club has been the heartbeat of player development in Dover Plains for nearly four decades. What began as a small community program has grown into a proven pathway for young athletes, consistently producing players who advance to elite youth levels, top college programs, and lifelong success in the sport. Dover United’s commitment to excellence is woven into everything it does — every player is guided by professionally licensed coaches who inspire, challenge, and elevate them to their highest potential.
Today, Dover United’s impact reaches far beyond Dover Plains. The club proudly serves players from neighboring communities such as Amenia, Millbrook, and Pawling, uniting young athletes from across the region through a shared love of the game.
The journey starts in the Town Program, where players take their first steps in the Dover United soccer pyramid. It’s here that passion takes root and fundamentals are built. From there, standout players who show promise, dedication, and a drive to improve are invited to the Travel Program — a competitive environment designed to push them further, sharpen their skills, and open the door to even bigger opportunities.
